To raise the healthiest most confident puppies possible we do several things. We have very few puppies at a time. One litter is all that is planned for this spring season.

We do the exercises that were laid out in the US military's 'Super Puppy program'. These exercises are done with each puppy from the age of 3 days until they reach 30 days. They are designed to stimulate neurological function. For more information on this fascinating program  which began as "DEVELOPING HIGH ACHIEVERS"Originally published as
"Early Neurological Stimulation"
by
Carmen L. Battaglia, go to their website www.breedingbetterdogs.com

We also follow the precepts on puppy rearing laid out by Dr. Ian Dunbar. This is a very gentle approach which ensures that young puppies are happy and confident in all situations. For more information about Mr. Dunbar and his wonderful approach to pet dog training find his website at www.siriuspup.com

Golden Babies

Pan and Doni

We have four lovely boys and five beautiful girls. Some of the puppies have distinct white markings.

This is the golden litter that reminded us of the sun dappled shores of the Aegean Sea and they are being registered as the little Greek nymphs, heroes and godesses that they are - Adonis (Doni in photo), Pan, Argus, Jason, Cybele, Ariadne, Daphne, Clio and of course Selene the ancient moon goddess.

Three of these dear puppies are spoken for.  They will be ready to go to their homes the week of June 21st.

If you would like your puppy to spend a month with professioinal trainer Kathy Novokshonoff please contact Jean. These 'miracle' house trained, leash trained puppies will be ready to go to their homes in mid July after their month of training.

They will be ready for their new homes the week of July 21st.

Families may choose to have their puppy professionally trained, if that is the case their puppies will be ready to go  home in the middle of August.

Please see Suzette's puppy page for some photos of last year's lovely litter who are all happy in their homes.

If you would like to have a puppy raised especially for you, contact Jean.

GENDER -When puppies are desexed between 7 and 9 weeks of age they have never had the infusion of hormones that determine sexual proclivities and behavior.  Our desexed Australian Labradoodle puppies have their own individual personalities. Some puppies are quieter than others, some are quicker to discover new things and want to play harder, some are very intuitive little beings.  The sex of the puppy has nothing to do with these traits. The only difference between a male and female desexed puppy is really in our own mind and the fact that we have chosen Rex or Princess as a name.

Liz and I often feel a little sad when a puppy with the perfect temperament, look and size for a specific family comes along but is not the gender they requested.  Over time we have watched the gentle, even dispositions of desexed puppies grow and develop. It is truly a remarkable thing.
