We love dogs at our house and have always enjoyed our poodles but when
Karen McKay of Canadoodle Labradoodles asked us to pick up an Australian
Labradoodle puppy at the airport we fell in love and have been thrilled to
have these amazing dogs as part of our lives ever since.
I am severely asthmatic and allergic but happily we are able to live
with six dogs. Three are poodles and happily two of them, Lilyanna and
Suzette, are beautiful medium sized Australian Labradoodles and our puppy
Liza is a miniature Australian Labradoodle. We are hoping to breed Liza
next year if she passes all of her tests. With the guidance of
Canadoodle Labradoodles, who had the first litter of Australian
Labradoodles in North America, we now have our fourth wonderful
litter of Australian Labradoodle puppies at our house.
We have always lived in a city house in our small town. Our dogs make
trips to the big city and do equally well walking out in the nearby woods
or in Vancouver's Kitsilano. They are very adaptable. When our labradoodle
baby Angelica was born we decided we really didn't have enough room in our
city house. We were lucky to find two and a half fenced acres with a very
old house that nobody else wanted to buy. In November 2006 we all moved.
The dogs still can't believe their good fortune and every morning get up
to run and run and run. Please come and meet our dogs. We are always happy
to have visitors here.
